Solstice Refugee Site At Kings Sombourne 1986

kings sombourne

Ford Thames "Yeoman" Plaxton-Embassy & Bedford Duple "Bella vega". Seen 22.6.86 Hampshire . Used by Stonehenge walkers and those vehicles that didn't head off to Pilton after the Hanging Langford roadblock . A 20 mile walk !. Handy for the village pub 10 mins walk away . But there was also some friction from the 'Mutants' & others already parked here , who weren't all exactly welcoming towards us 'refugees'..overtones of 'big vehicle snobbery ' Photo = Dave Fawcett
